THE NEAR DEATH ENSEMBLE es una conspiración sonica POST-JAZZ FREE-ROCK iniciada por el guitarrista/compositor Marc Curcio, que incluye tambien Jorge de Rocha (contrabajo), Giuliano Gius Cobelli (trompeta electrica, theremin, pad de percusiones, teclado), Francisco ''Pacho'' Frieri (percusiones y batería), Owen Kilfeather (cintas y aparatos), Gabriel Milan (teclados).

Sesiones de música improvisada, semi-improvisados o "dirigida", en el que la música se desarrolla de forma espontánea o como resultado de ideas preconcebidas, y posiblemente influenciada por los mismos músicos.
